  • COVID-19 Vaccinations

    Vaccination, along with other preventative measures, is the best protection against COVID-19, including variants.

    Easy Steps to Schedule Your Vaccine
      -  Log into your MyThedaCare account.
      -  Click the menu and select "Schedule an Appointment".
      -  ThedaCare patients will be able to schedule a vaccine where appointments are available. Please check back if appointments are unavailable or do not work for your schedule.

    Scheduling the COVID Vaccine for Your Child
    The Pfizer lower-dose COVID vaccine is now available for children ages 5 to 11, following authorization by the FDA and CDC.

    If you are scheduling for your child, access your child's account via MyThedaCare’s proxy access and click "Schedule an Appointment" in the menu on the upper-left side. Parents who do not have a MyThedaCare account can set up a free account by clicking the "Sign up Now" button to the right.

    Parents who do not currently have proxy access to their minor child can request proxy access by logging into MyThedaCare, accessing the menu on the upper-left side, and clicking "Proxy Access to Other People”. This will allow you to complete the online proxy request form and allow our staff to complete the necessary setup. If you need help locating the information or are having trouble accessing your MyThedaCare account, please call your primary care provider’s office or the MyThedaCare technical help desk at 877-259-6180.

    All children who are being vaccinated will need to have a parent/guardian with them at the vaccination appointment for consent. Written consent will not be accepted.
  • COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Information

    Following FDA authorization and CDC approval, people can get a booster of the COVID-19 vaccine, increasing protection against the virus and variants.

    Below are eligibility details on boosters by manufacturer of initial dosing:

      -  Pfizer-BioNTech -
    People 12 and older should get a booster, at least five months after completing primary series. People age 18 and older have the opportunity to mix and match vaccine manufacturers, with Pfizer or Moderna preferred.

    Teens 12-17 can only get a Pfizer booster.

      -  Moderna -
    Adults 18 and older should get a booster, at least five months after completing primary series. People age 18 and older have the opportunity to mix and match vaccine manufacturers, with Pfizer or Moderna preferred.

      -  Johnson & Johnson/Janssen -
    Adults 18 and older should get a booster, at least two months after receiving single-dose primary series. People age 18 and older have the opportunity to mix and match vaccine manufacturers, with Pfizer or Moderna preferred.
